Dr. Adrianne Kroepsch and her collaborators were awarded $300,000+ from the U.S. Department of Agriculture for their research and service project, “Understanding and Addressing Research Fatigue in Rural Communities: Lessons for the Social Sciences from Energy Boomtowns.”  The scholars will analyze the research fatigue problems faced by people living in energy boomtowns who find their communities overrun by social scientists during extractive booms and busts.
