We are pleased to have Anadarko’s Alex Hohmann and the Colorado Oil & Gas Association (COGA)’s President, Dan Haley, on the Board of Advisors for the M.S. in Natural Resources and Energy Policy. Anadarko, one of the world’s largest independent oil and gas companies, is a leader in corporate social responsibility. In addition to Colorado, Texas, Utah and Wyoming, Anadarko has offices in Algeria, Brazil, Colombia, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Kenya, Mozambique, Singapore, South Africa, and the U.K.

Founded in 1984, and now representing hundreds of oil and gas companies, COGA‘s “purpose is to foster and promote the beneficial, efficient, responsible, and environmentally sound development, production, and use of Colorado’s oil and natural gas resources.”

Alex and Dan understand the value of a broader education in the oil and gas sector. They will be coming to campus this Fall to brainstorm ideas for best practices in our classrooms, to give formal  talks in our classrooms, to advise our students on industry trends and how to make the most of the NREP degree, and to help our students find the best jobs in the sector.
